i need help on valve train... im dropping a blox stage 2 cams in my lsv. whats a better choice of valve springs and retainers?? itr combo or blox combo?? thanks for the info guys!!!

 

I would do ITR outers w/ portflow inners, and their matching snap fit ti retainer. Then get a good set of cam gears to dial those cams in, for optimal performance you should probably degree those cams in to specification.

 

i talked to portflow about a month ago. he said he was gonna phase that setup out since there is so many choices of aftermarket support now. when he came out with them there was not much of a choice. he said he only had a limited supply left,also remember you gotta run the intake springs on the exhaust side with that setup.
if you already have the intake side by the time you buy the inakes for the exhaust and the portflow inners you could get you some supertechs for a little more

 

For my next head package I am seriously considering supertechs new forged aluminum retainers with 10 degree locks, and their dual valve springs.

 

ive already got the springs. im gonna get the crower chromoly steel retainers and the manley 7 degree lockers
