Default Mini JDM Recaro Type-R Baby Seat :P

Picked this up for fellow honda-tech member. Finally got it in after a long wait on Friday. Thought I'd share the pictures, hope he dosn't mind. The detail and quality of this thing is impressive.

Rad! Doosty, my son Avery has been waiting for "Santa" to come in January. LOL. He cannot wait to get in his new seat. It will be good for him up to the age of 4. After that, we would have to put it in storage. LOLz. Unless my wife and I have another kid. If we do, dont be surprised if I request another one!

You don't know how Jealous i am right now to see that seat! I wanted one so bad, but $$$ could be used in other places. My little one is growing so fast, but she would be ballin out in that baby Recaro. And plus the seat wouldn't be in my R, but in the CRV my gf drives and it would fit as well.

^^^If you don't mind me asking, What car is this going in? R i would naturally assume, but i thought you sold ya R? Can i see a pic of the future baby mover?

Another thing, Why are people putting them away in storage? Why not clean it and resale it? There are plenty of H-T/ITR owners that would pay top dollar for a piece like that.

They come in red or black. The black has hints of small amounts of white.

John, the seat is good for 5.5lbs up to 40lbs (which is typically 4 years). I was inquiring about this through Recaro USA in 2006 and they never came out with one. This is called a convertible seat because it adapts to an infant up to a toddler.
