3rd popped tire in less then a year!
I haven't even owned my 94 integra for a year and I've replaced the front tires once because of a flat. Ran over a nail, patched it, and tonight got another flat. I've checked my tires, all have a lot of tred left except the one that went flat tonight. The one that went flat tonight looks expletiveed up. Hardly any tred at all, it looks like someone has been scrapping curbs with it, white marks all along the SIDE of the tire. Intrestingly enough, thats my front left tire. So I don't even park on that side of the car. So WTF?! Does anyone have any clue about rims wearing tires down hardcore? Because I just got these replaced and I just got my car back from pacc a few weeks ago and they themselves said My breaks and tires have a while to go. I'm so confused!
I'm about to throw the money i have saved for my security system and gps and hood pins into new 15 in rims and tires instead of these 17 in mexican nightmares!

Is it possible there is a suspension problem with your car (bent tie rod, shot bushings, that sort of thing)? That can cause a tire to wear out unusually fast. If it is really drastic, it could cause it to scrape against the wheel well causing marks on it. I would put it up on a lift and check it (or have an experienced mechanic do it). Bad alignment is another possible cause of problems. Also, have you been checking your tire pressure from time to time? If the pressure is way off, it's possible for the sidewall to be collapsed and cause problems.

Are you talking about a piece of plastic rubbing against your tire?
