Alarm LED stays on, no chirp

Alarm LED stays on, no chirp
It's a Viper 881XP, had it for a year with no problems. Then I noticed when I unlocked the door, the lights flash but the alarm didn't chirp. I also noticed the LED would stay on, no flashing, but constantly whether the car was armed or disarmed.
