As long as you have a stock CAT (that is functioning properly) , you have nothing to worry about. Also make sure your headers come with a CARB sticker, being that you are in CA, so if you are asked about them, you have legitimate documentation of them being legal.

just put you stock manifold back on in tpr magazine they did a header test and the dc 4-1 lost 2whp over stock and the 4-2-1 lost a little over 3whp

hmmmm thats weird since i have DC 4-1 header and i gained over stock. I have never heard of a 4-2-1 header for b16... all i have ever seen is 4-1.

Bolt-ons may not gain much power, but losing power is completely different. If the test was not done on the same motor and at almost the same time and temp, etc than it could be a determining factor on the results.

BINGO! it is hard to beleive a header will cause power loss when the pipes are bigger and extend more. you may lose low end torque but top end power ill have to call on.

Turbo2nr did you look back online to check this? I just recently looked at it and they both gained power. Recheck that.
