Sleeve over help......
When installing sleeve overs and shocks, how do you stop the spring from moving all over the place? Especially in the rear, when the wheel is off and its on the jack to adjust
the height, the spring is loose and moves side to side really bad.....is this bad?
How can I have it stay secure while lowering the car back down?
How to have it secure in the OEM tophat in the rear?

Im not talking about the sleeve moving, that is fine...Im talking about the spring. They are so short, that when the suspension is at full drop the spring flops around side to side and is all over the place in the top hat.
The sleeve is moving?
There is a little trick I and several other use. Once the o-rings (3 per shock) I think take a roll of electrical tape and start wrapping the shock and o-rings then I slide the sleeve back on if the sleeve is not snug I pull it back off and wrap more tape on there. It helps with noise and also helps things not to move around.
When I put the car back on the ground I let the jack down slowly so I can check each side cause the springs will move around in there until they are seated. While it is up in the air they are going to move around a little bit. That is the nature of the beast.

You will have no problems. I was concerned with that in the beginning myself but the weight of the car will hold the spring just fine.
Unless you jump it...also not good that is how my buddy about killed himself many years ago. Popped a hill and lost control of his 90 hatch.
Seriously though you will have no issues man. Once you lower the car down on the springs you can yank/pull on them and they won't move. I have Skunk2 coil overs on my car.
