Default Dyno'd yet again today... New numbers/videos...

I changed my intake setup today. Went from my AEM CAI, to a cut down AEM CAI, with a BPI velocity stack/K&N filter. Picked up 5.05whp, and 7.43ftlbs.

Old graph:

169.83whp/121.28ftlbs

New graph: (I'm still getting the hang of when to cut off the reading )

174.88whp/128.71ftlbs

[

Tried a third gear pull for the hell of it...

I'm going to try and get heR tuned soon, I'm curious to see how much power can be picked up with a 2.5" exhaust and tuning.

I'll post updates when I have some.

Thanks Taylor (turbociv910) for taking video and showing me the dyno ropes today.

Awesome. I am suprised that it picked up that much torque.

Damn..didn;t know just by making your cai to a sri would give you that much more power...Maybe i should do the same? Did you have a bpi stack with the cai? Good Numbers!

No, I just had the AEM filter on the CAI. I had intended to do a test between the BPI/K&N on both the SRI and CAI, but I started feeling like **** about half way through, and decided to get it a different day.

I moved to SRI so I don't have to worry about hydrolock, seeming as I do drive the car quite a bit.

I hear SRI actually does better than CAI though... I'll get some numbers between the two soon.

I'd highly recommend the 3" intake tube/BPI velocity stack/K&N filter setup.

You can get the Samco 3" arm fairly cheap, and BPI is running a Honda-Tech members special, $95 shipped for the stack and filter.

Can't argue with 5.05whp/7.43ftlbs with just a different intake, and a cheap one at that.

Thanks again for the deal homie.

Glad I finally got it in, I'm pleased with the increase. And you were right about VTEC with this thing... DAMN.

A set of cam gears and some more dyno time would help out a bit :-)

Can Only get it (Samco Intake Arm) through King, they're the only authorized distributer of it anyway.

Hey Jordan Give us a video tour with commentary of the new shop, looks so bad *** and clean.

PM user STREETWERKZ, he MIGHT still have his Samco arm for sale for $100.

Cory, my boss doesn't want anyone promoting the shop yet to that extent. When we're open, I'll do a video tour.

With all these Dyno threads, I think Zed has earned a new title to go along with the rest.
