i tried searching through 946 thread topics for my answer but still no luck. but does anyone know if there is a three belt accessory pulley that fits on the 88 CRX Si motor?
the reason i need this is b/c i swapped a d16a6 from an 88 CRX into my 88' wagovan and i need a pulley with provisions for power steering on the wagon. i tried reusing the pully from the wagon but the snout on the d16a6 crank is different in size. thanks in advance.

My old hatch had a 3 belt pulley it had powersteering ac and alt. maybe it would work? check out the online parts catalogs for part #'s
I have a 3 belt pulley in my hatch that i converted to P/S the P/s and pulley came out of an 88 lx 4 door.
I then swapped in an 89 d16a6 and found that the pulley had a different size crank centre. Try searching for crank snout size.
Anyway i had the pulley machined to fit and all has been good for numerouse years.

thanks for the input, any other suggestions besides having to take it to the machine shop?
the d16a6's snout is a 22mm while my 3 belt pulley off the old wagon is a 24mm if that helps.
i know there has to be another pulley from a honda/acura that can fit.

'88-91 Civic 5dr 4WD and '90-91 Civic 4dr EX should both have what you are looking for. Part number 56990-PM6-003.

that's odd b/c the pulley that came off my 88' 4wd wagon is too big to fit onto the d16a6 snout---24mm vs 22mm, hence my dilema and my headache.

Some early A6es had the different diameter crank snout and took a PM3 pulley. Looks like you've got one. Try a pulley from an LX D15B2 or an automatic DX (DX AT had power steering).
Or just have it machined.

okay thanks, thats the answer i was looking for.
i'll try to hunt down an automatic DX.

Upon further research, it appears that most D15B2s had the 24mm crank snout as well. Only very early production 1988 A6es and B2s seem to have been 22mm.
Thus, you may be SOL as far as finding a pulley for a 22mm crank snout with power steering, unless you have good enough luck to find another early production '88 4WD wagon or Civic LX.
It seems that '86-87 Integra D16A1 engines had a 22mm crank snout, but I'm not sure if the pulley configuration is the same. If you can find one, it's worth a try.

The early tegs had a 3 belt pulley and should work

They do indeed have a 3-belt pulley, but I am not sure if they are configured in the same way as an '88-91 Civic (belt position, belt ribs, etc.).

sorry to thread jack but i'm going threw the same delima. i have a 91 wagon rt4wd with the stock d16a6. well the crank pulley came off on the freeway. i replaced it with one from a 95 civic si (p28) and the alt belt doesnt line up with the alt. the crank bolted up fine with the key lock and bolt. now i need to know what size crank pulley i need so i can get a new one. now it's exactly 4* in wisconsin and i dont have a heated garage to wrip the thing apart and measure

Starting from the outside (fender) and working in they are
1. P/S
2. A/C
3. Alternator
Honda used to make things very uniform
