traction bar question
a friend is sellin some avid traction bars for a good price but they sit really really low i was wondering if i bought them could i just drill out holes in the mounting brackets like 1-1.5 inches down so they will sit up higher? anyone thought about this???? for ur info the avid traction bars mount where the factory tow hooks mount

Isn't Avid the one that was copied from place racing?
I don't think it is exactly known for high tensile strength, and I would be worried about weakening an already weak piece, but I guess you could if you wanted?
