HELP - CRX Si with Z6 swap - how to corectly hook up Z6 intake manifold?
so i swaped in a Z6 motor into my CRX that i bought not running at age 16. now almost a year later at age 17 i did the obd-1 conversion with the help of rywire, reused my Si tranny hooked up the map sensor, rewired the fan switch made the injectors 12v, new timeing belt, distributor, starter and so on all with my own paypa, cash, dinero, doe, blood, sweat, and yes tears.
and the car runs fine
dispite the fact that it kinda jerks wenever i step on the accelarator. i was wondering if it would have to do with the way i hooked up the Z6 manifold? or the lack of the vacume solenoid that i broke(oops) and is now pluged off. because im not sure if i conected everything up correctly (all the plugs to the correct sensors) couled anyone point me in the right direction? pictures would also be helpful. its my first ever swap done by me a lil 17 year old with no help from pop n ma and i want it to run rite- HELP

ur sayin it runs fine but its jerkin cause of the manifold??
do u mean its like hesitating or like the car is jerking as in steering?

as long as im steping on the gas it runs like any other car but if i let go and get back on it it jerks, jumps, "exesive go", not smooth...something like that. its not like a normal car when you step on the gas it accelatates smoothly, it's not strong but noticeable and moves you a bit each time i step on the gas again. and its not that i drive fast or am steping hard on the throtle im going speed limit and not trying to race every one parked next to me its just normal driving.
how is ur clutch??? might need to get ur flywheel resurfaced?? or ur clutch it bad thats the only thing i can think of
also what ecu are u using?
also what ecu are u using?
my clutch is good it was a newer clutch when i bought the motor as for the flyweel i dont know what condition its in and i have the P28 ecu. i would still like to know about the intake manifold and how to hook it up corectly because im not 100% on wich plugs go to wich solenoid or sensor on the intake manifold from the si engine harness. its a 91 also if that helps.
never mind i found my problem - i had the little idle moter thing and the air intake temp sensor swiched - problem solved!

well just like i said before, when i drove my car after the swap it wouldent be a smooth ride. whenever i wouled re accelarate my car wouled set me back a bit each time i would step on the gas again. the reason for this is that i had the plugs for the iacv and the white plug mis-matched which i think its the intake temp sensor...idk once i found out i had them switched i corrected my proplem and just like magic! my car idled perfectly!
