Have a 1992 Honda Accord Lx automatic. Any reason why when putting the car into "D4" gear the green light flashes instead of being solid green? I have been having trans problems. Would the flashing green light been the warning? Seems like the car is not shifting into second gear and skips to third gear. What could I look into to solve this problem? Trans fluid is new and properly filled. -Jaime

 

Just replied to another thread exactly like this. The blinking D4 light means transmission problems. Sounds like your shift solenoid but take it to a shop and have the trouble codes read.
