Default Which Strut/Shock for Eibach Pro-Kit?

I have a 96 LS and I have a Pro-Kit. Im looking for performance and comfort. Im on a tight budget. I've looked at the Skunk2 Sports and I like those. What else would you guys suggest? And would you suggest the Skunk2 at all?

I think the KYB AGX's work good with those.

What is your budget?

Bout $300 Shipped. Unless I run across a good deal. Then I would spring for a little more.

KYB and Eibach prokit is a nice set up I had it on my car for about 2months b4 I got sick of the stance and bought Koni and GC.. but it rode very nice and kyb shocks are adjustable so thats a +

they were a great combo it's just I wanted to lower more.. but I knew that when I bought them..lol it was just a quick fix for me.

Which KYBs did you have? And when you say it rode good... how good? As good as stock? Better? Worse? Thanks!

I had tokico illuminas with the prokit. It was a nice ride on the lowest setting and an awesome ride with a high setting if you looking for a little bit of performance.

personally, the pro-kit is nice, but it's not a low enough drop. typically, people see the back lowered more than the front. do your searching before you buy anything else

The pro-kit doesn't need anything spectacular, KYB GR-2's would be fine.

Thats true. All I really wanted it for was to get rid of most of the fender well gap. A small increase in handling is just a plus for me. After I got them I started thinking about my stock struts/shocks that are 12 years old and have almost 160k on them. I just dont think they could handle the ROUGH roads of Louisiana with a lower and stiffer spring.

I owned the AGX(adjustable shocks) yes they rode a lil better than stock depending on the setting you put them on...I've only had AGX and Koni to compare as shocks go, and the Koni ride a hell of a lot better than the AGX.. but AGX are good for a DD.. Pretty cheap adjustable shocks IMO

But tokico illuminas are a lil better shock for the money

I think you can get the Tokico HP's for like $215 now, good way to go if you want to save money. If you turn the dollars up the Konis are something else, they really give you a great feel of the road and control body motion. The ride isn't punishing just tight. I've used the Koni sport on my Vette and a couple prior cars and have always been very pleased.
