Now the car wont start but the outside lights are working but no dash andwhen we put key in ignition all we get is a beep-beep...beep-beep.....beep-beep Someone please advise or help......

Yep, check your fuses.

 

blew the batt fuse

 

88 Accord husband put pos and neg jumper cables on backwards post in the wrong section


but check your fuses is the first thing i would do

either way, whom ever did it?..it still Your fault lol.

Could have fried your ecu too by doing that. Check fuses and pray to god that nothing got torched due to your fuse not blowing fast enough.

women and car's usually don't mix (driving, fixing, gasing up, anything,) just tell them hands off. My gf doesn't put oil in her civic. I tell her too, check it periodically for her (once a month) and of course its completely below the bottom on the dip stick. I have to add a quart every couple months for her or her motor would sieze...jesus..
