need help with temp gauge.
car had a minor front end collision the only damage was the front lights were pushed in and everything was cramed into the air duckt box. but the help i need is when i drive the temp gauge goes to the cold side and when i stop at a light the temp gauge needle goes to the normal running temperature any ideas have some pictures from lastnight..

these are some pictures looks worse than it was, the front bar that everything bolts to was damaged acura dealership said its the front strut bar, the radiator works fine no damage at all, just the resivour was pushed back into the induckt box, and the headlights were pushed back thats all that was damaged besides the hood..have a cf hood now. will get more pictures tommarrow since its dark

Yes. Just drain out your coolant, open up the thermostat housing and replace the thermostat and gasket. Close it back up and refill your radiator with coolant. Might wanna bleed it out for air bubbles too
