JDM B16A4
Guys just need some confirmation here. On the Civic SiR JDM, isn't the EK model the B16A4 engine and on the earlier models the B16A1 varient, making 170bhp and 160bhp respectivly.
Now I know all JDM motors are stamped as just B16A and have no number after them to denote their exact model in the range.
Can anyone confirm this. I am 99% sure here.
Thanks

I know all that, what I asked was what variant of B16A it was. The 1/2/3/4?
I am aware they are all stamped the same but the are different motors obviously.
So again. Can anyone confirm that the B16A(4) is in the EK SiR JDM.

I'm not big on all the JDM crap so I'm not entirely sure.
Though I thought that was the only B16A motor from '96-'00? That being so wouldn't it be OBD-II? If I recall correctly there were no other variants in '96-'00, only '<95, no?
I could be wrong here, but if it's OBD-II I'm pretty sure it's an A4. Other than measuring the internals though I can't think of anything else :-\

It would be considered 3rd gen, but closely related to the B16A2.
