my honda CBR 600 1989 (F-reg) problem
Here is my probem, the bikes stripped to have the street fighter look.
I need a seat, rear light and number plate bracket but have been around numerous bike shops and have had trouble finding one!
Problem is, without the engine fearings, the original seat wont fit correctly... Any suggestions or advice greatly appreciated???
For example, any breakers or websites dealing in London or Essex that could possibly supply the seat, rear light or number plate bracket.
Thank you - and below is some pictures...

there are all kinds of generic tail lights. you could also find a stock unit from just about any bike and make it fit. one of the points of a streetfighter is that few things will bolt right on perfectly so you'll need to custom fit some stuff. i made a plate bracket that also mounts turn signals pretty easily out of some sheet aluminum with basic cutting tools. as far as a seat, you'll either have to find a way to mount the stock seat w/o using the fairing brackets, or google search streetfighter to find some forums and see if anyone there has any suggestions.
I have an F1 as well, and the first thing i learned is, fairing are worth more than the bike itself. Once in a while you can find some on ebay, but parts are getting harder and harder to find. Another place to look is CBRforum.com. There are a couple of bike being parted out there.
hey mate! my first aprilia back home (southy) had the same problem. I actually found a guy in london with a TON of extra fairs etc. I will see if I can find his info.
