i just received their names in a document from the office of district attorneys..
They went to my OLD high school and are graduating in 2010! . i just looked them up on facebook and their all basketball/football/swimmers. they look around 6feet tall. i found out the guys name i was fighting, because it had a battery charge next to his name, it turns out that hes a little brother of one of my '06 classmates.
im not going to worry about these "kids" coming back because if they do, i know where they go to school and in 1 case, i know where he lives (school directory)
all 3 of them are charged with (Attempt Burglary of Motor Vehicle, Consumption/Poss Liquor Minor) and the one i fought had this extra charge (Attempt Agg Battery/Intentional Harm)


excuse my mispelllings and grammer, i got back from the hospital after receiving staples in my head

before anyone posts, i know it was stupid to run outside with no weapons or run outside period. but i dint want any thieves to lay their hands on my belongings.
AND i thought my brother/brother in law wwere right behind me which they arent (half asleep)

at around 230am i got home and was feeling kind of tired. i parked outside because i had other cars blocking the driveway. i went to go take a shower and after i was done, i sat on my computer for a few minutes, for some reason i had a weird feeling that someone was outside. i picked up my remote lock and unlocked it like i always do to scare them away. 5 minutes later i turn off the computer and turn on the tv but set the volume low. i hear a car outside. (the tires on snow makes a creeping noise) i look out my window(side of the house) i start to hear some voices im like ok. then i see some thief trying to open up my TSXs door. i run upstairs tell my brother and brother in law WAKE UP NOW SOMEONES TRYING TO JaCK/BREAK INTO OUR CARS. im just in my BOXERS i run out in 12degree weather no shoes nothing. right when i open the door. i hear one of the guys close my moms car door (accord) the other 2 were parked across the street as a look out but were standing behind the bed of the truck( as a lookout). the guy yells to the others RUN RUN. i go towards one of the guy and start giving him some licks. he had a huge flashlight (cop-like metal one) bashes my head but i continue to fight him we were wrestling on the snow for a few seconds then i had him pined up against the truck. my brother and brother in law then come up and hold him down and start hittin him. he then cries out STOP IT WASNT ME STOP PLEASE. he falls to the ground and i start to knee his head multiple times after hes already been beaten to hell. his face is all bloody probably a broken noose. my dad was out there to! he took the shovel and i grabbed it from him and started bashing the guys face in. the other 2 ran back to try and help his friend but my dad took the shovel and said YOU TO? MOTHER F*ckers. anyways they couldnt find their key because my brother in law went into their car and grabbed the key. he gave it back and they took off. i was told that i was bleeding all over from the flashlight busting my head open. my sister calls the police and as we are walking into the tsx trying to get to the hospital 2 guys RUN up to the car and has the flashlight shined on us (they were cops) but we thought the guys were returning. they had their guns drawn and thought me and my dad were the thieves anyways i go out of the hospital at 530 after some ctscans and 4 staples in my head. at least they didnt get any of our cars, they thought they were going to score big from seeing a 05 rsx type s, 97 accord, 90 accord, 04 tsx, 00 itr, 07 lexusis250

btw the guys were caught down the street ill update as i find out more information, i left somethings out because i cant think of it all right now (huge headache)

For a minute there, it reminded of a UFC fight. LOL. Blood, knee's to the head. Rad story dude. However, in the state of Texas, (mind you are in KS/MO), you can be charged for assault/misdemeanor (if fought by fists) or battery/felony (if fought with a flash light). I hope it doesnt get to that point.

You reacted spontaneously and could have been hurt a lot worse. ****.. i really can't sit here and say i wouldn't have done the same thing, but seriously.... be careful. That dumbshit could have had a gun, and you could have lost your life over something as silly as a damn car.

i know that, next time ill pick up the phone first, i realized i shouldnt have ran out but it was a "natural reaction"

I may be wrong, but I don't think so. There's a law about the right to protect your property.

Anyway, hope they're attractive young men. They'll have lots of "dates" in the slammer.

You have the right to protect your properity by hurting or killing somebody in Texas. However, killing somebody or defending your property CAN and WILL end up in a Civil suit against you. And I promise you will lose in court. Any lawyer will pick up your case in a heartbet if YOU were the one who got shot attempting to steal the ITR.

The cops can say what they want but they do not control the will of the thief. I am not here to offend you, just stating what you can be up against. Research your local law and/or speak to a lawyer.

Sick dude, glad you got the best of them and beat some ***... I have a similar story in boxes but it involves no snow, and My Rugar P89, and a full clip. I'm sure most of you remember the story. But I'm not here to thread jack.
