EARLS INLINE FUEL FILTER???

Just wondering if I can "SAFELY" replace the stock fuel filter in my del dol for EARLS 35 Micron sintered bronze element, In-Line Fuel Filter. 240 GPH flow rate?????

im sure it is cuzz some of the k swap guys are using inline fuel filters in place of the ugly big one
