Default 16a1 head on a b18 l/s block??

im doing a 89 hf project car pushin 200hp with a b18 non v-tec and was wondering if anybody knew if the b16 head will puch more power? better compression? more top end power?? Help me out?

You currently have a 200hp non-vtec B18 and you don't know what a VTEC head will do for you? I highly doubt it.

No. LSVTEC'S are overrated

I am gonna have to call on this one.
Tough to believe that someone who does not know an LSVTEC could make any kind of power out of a non-VTEC engine.

i have heard that the ls block cant handle the high rpm from the vtec? Is this true?

How can you have a 200 hp ls and not know anything about vtec?
