Just out of curiosity how in the world is the EM1 (99-00 Civic Si) end up with over 2000cc displacement when it came with a B16a2? That is a 1.6L DOHC motor. The EP3, RSX, and Type S all come with K20 and that is about their displacement...
(Clears throat)Eh he heemm and I do quote...

I think your stats are a bit off... WAAAAY off.
If you notice hondas coding is per liter ex:
b16 = 1.6
k20 = 2.0
k24 = 2.4
h22 = 2.2
f22 = 2.2
d16 = 1.6
etc.... etc.... so how does a b16 come with a 2.0 liter? Also the rsx-s runs a high 14 (14.6-.9) if you can read MPH it says so...
last but not least.. how does a base have a faster 0-60 then a type-s and the type-s is more powerful then the base?
I'd fix your post before someone gets the wrong ideas.
p.s.
lilbinky your sig still still sux

Just a thought.

Yeah, my stock Ep3 also did over 132 mph, it hit over 140 (only did that once, lol). That stat was way wrong, good call joey

Seriously, only idiots go over 80-90 mph on the streets. I don't care if you were on straight, country road with no traffic and you were just doing it to see what the car could do; it's downright stupid to go 130-140 mph... in a Civic of all cars. I hope you knew your tires were rated for that speed, inflated perfectly, lug nuts torqued correctly, and just about every other suspension part was in perfect working order.
Some 16 year old fool around here was trying to go fast in his EP on a "straight, country road," and rolled his car into a tree. Killed himself and his friend. Pubic roads are WAY too unpredictable for that immature BS.

Man this is pretty heated. ^^ Yeah, I agree.
So what's the final say about the stock type-s quarter? I hear 14.6-9. That's about the avg. I'm seeing, and I'm still dying to get one. I'm jealous of all of your type-s owners.

They are RATED at 14.6-.9 but does not mean the average person is going to run that. That's only, like you said, with good driver. With that being said we weren't talking about what he ran, we are talking about their rating. I've known people who suck at driving ran 15-17's.
