My first impression is that you could prolly leave the caR running, the door open and she'll be safe.
Are you going to be in a city :snicker: or just small-town America?
Hopefully someone with WY experience can chime in once they get the interweb hooked up out there. JK I think if you've kept heR safe in Vancouver, then you can handle Wyoming.

well the job there is on some railway construction, im a rock stabilization tech., just got a phone call about it tonight...they are recruiting my crew from vancouver for help....it is a 5 year project...but i only plan on staying for at most 1 year, because there are some other openings with the company in guatamala(sp?) and in hawaii. oh ya...and i just realized how small wyoming actually is....its biggest city has a pop. of 86,XXX....omg...this has to be the lowest highest population city i have ever seen...vancouver has more people than that entire state

absolutley take it, it seems like that is abou the perfect enviroment to own an r(as long as the roads are paved) if they are i bet they are nice and smooth becaus not a shitload of traffic on them, and the best part is you can enjoy your type r without worrying about theft 24/7
just a heads up and i dont know if this will make a difference but there is a hella lot of snow in Wyoming so get ready for nasty roads with hella amounts of salt to get your front wheel drive whip dirty with
There is lots of snow in Wyoming. To be honest with you, I find that state next to Northern Arizona to be the most beautiful state in the country. Are you going to be in Laramie? I have not heard of a theft problem in Wyoming but not saying it will not happen.

Just a thought, maybe you should sell heR now then. It will be easier selling a Canadian car while still in Canada, rather than "importing" it here then trying to US title it for the next owner. I'm assuming you'd sell it if/when you go to HI or Guatemala anyways. If not, then keep heR and enjoy WY

you'll be fine bringing it with you....I live in Denver been up to Cheyenne a number of times and drove through the state on a road-trip few years back. The wind in southern WY can be brutal.....once or twice a year an 18-wheeler will get blown over because of the wind.....as you enter WY there are signs posted about high winds... 70-80 mph gusts.
I've been there a few times to see devils tower and climb around on it..... i think you'll be the only type R
I go to south dakota every year around the sturgis rally and i see about 2-3 riced out civics or teenagers in accords trying to race. Of course we were in a CL-S so im sure we had the hottest honda in the tristate area....
I say bring it that way you won't miss it while you are gone
