i have got a 88 crx dx

this is how i bought it




then i primed it

then i painted it flat black for the winter.
thats me in my costume when we went to go pick up my buddys g/f 89 crx si.
but after that day my head gasket blew.
i replaced that.
in that time i have bought a new exhaust from header back


then a pick of the header i have its 4-2-1

new corners

mods i want to do;
make it back to stock
b18 swap
paint it gloss black
put my interior back together(missing half the ****)
and full suspension work


i'll have more pics soon

about 3 weeks ago i was driving down the highway doing 80 and my hood flew off so i need a new one and this also equels no more hood scoops

the header came with it
and my grandparents bought me my exhaust for me so when i have money i'm going to be buying some new exhaust

 

ok so last night after i started this thread i went out by my car and went to go put the valve cover nuts back on and i busted one of the studs
i dont know where to get new ones...could i use a bolt with the same thread patteren

no that one was about ppls opion if stock or body kit is better it got locked tho

and it is so cold out i let my car sit for about 5 day without working on it and i now have 2 flats

 

so i havent been outside allday and i just wanted to go work on my car...i look up how cold it is out side

I have that exhaust on my hatch (came with it) and its doesnt sound bad and flows better than stock.

 

yeah today was even colder -14 this morning with a wind chill of like -40
i hate not being able to work on my car

on monday i'm going to go look at a b18 just motoe and ecu and wiring for $400

idk its all taken apart and the guy dont remember all he knows is its a b18 out of a 95 civic

 

you just look in front of the engine. There would be a stamp saying b18??

i think it a steal for it..and he dont know if it is v-tec or not....he kept telling to come look for myself on monday

Nice rex man....Needs some TLC, but it has potential. Hood's a bit ricey, doesn't flow with the rest of the kit, but I've seen worse. I'm all about budget builds man, I know what it's like to have big dreams and no money to bring them to life. Just take good care of the car and don't be stupid with what money you spend on it and you'll end up with a sweet ride.
