OK MY BUDDY FINALLY BOUGHT A CRX TODAY.
IT A 1990 CRX SI.
AND EVER SENCE HE HAS SEEN ONE HE HAS WANTED TO BUY THE 13 PIECE WIDE BODY KIT AND I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO TALK HIM OUT OF IT FOR THE PAST YEAR OR SO.
WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK ABOUT THE WIDE BODY KITS??
AND I'M TRYING BUY HIS TAIL LIGHTS ALREADY...
THEY ARE THE ONES WITH THE RED LIP AROUND THEM..
MINE HAS THEM BUT THEY ARE ALL expletiveED UP...
HOW MUCH SHOULD I OFFER HIM FOR THEM?

anyone opion on the body kit what you gotta say about it i'm trying to tell him not to wast his money on the kit

 

it is a nice body kit if he is making a trailered show car, but if he plans on driving it down the street, he will probably crack something on it as it is fiberglass. it will be a complete waste when that happens and will look like crap. That is just my opinion, and to each their own.

 

yeah he wants to drive it everyday and drop a b18 in it to race with the wide body kit

Wow I had never seen such body kit. In my opinion that kit would just be for show. I dont know what kind of show people would go see it at but he really shouldnt put it on if he plans to race that car. But a part of me says...put it on just to see it actually done.

oh and weight the car afterwards...just curious.

i have no idea for weight
yeah i have a 88 crx and it has i 6 piece wings west body kit and i want it all stock
i bought the car like that so i aint complaining
