I accidentally grinded shifting in to second really bad yesterday. Now it is really hard to shift in and out of second even on normal driving. I searched the forums and bought 2 quarts of MTF and planning on using it tomorrow. Will this help or does it sound like i damaged something internally because the shifting pretty smooth before..... any quick responses will be appreciated as Im trying to sell my car ASAP

 

believe me i searched this many many times....This problem just started happening all of a sudden and Im worried.

 

you may have grinded a little to hard and tore the teeth of your synchros.. sounds like you may have to get them replaced.
