Im getting a new Civic Si sometime this month and this is my first brand new car and i dont wanna f*ck it up as soon as i get. So if u guys can give me some tips on anything: maintenance, and a list of mods to get that would be helpful

 

Follow the recommended break-in method that hopefully the dealership told you. Don't rag it out as soon as you get it cause you will only do more harm than good. I know it's tempting. But just put it in your pants.

As far as maintenance....it is very low maintenance....but I would recommend changing the MTF every 30K miles even though technically it's not due till 60K. Or so the advisor tells me. But changing it every 30K keeps it nice and fresh.

As far as not f**king up your car....just don't do anything stupid. These cars can take alot of abuse....but every car has it's breaking point. Making turns too fast etc......we have seen what happens when one puts too much throttle into a turn as an unfortunate member on this site has found out the hard way.

As far as mods....there are plenty. Searching around will pull up plenty of threads on this. But a fairly popular site is http://www.corsportusa.com.

MTF=Manual transmission fluid

 

just don't drive it like your in a game and change the oil every3-4k miles and you should be good and so should the car. Like mentioned above change transmission fluid around 30k. You can also rotate the tires every 10 k mies if you want.
