I have a question though...This is not the first ITR motor ive seen with a black valve cover adn the blue wires....I was just wondering if its from an older type r before they started using the red valve cover or...................????????
nice engine
whats up with the short ram intake? i've never seen one that fat before. also are there benefits to using that type of filter rather than a foam filter?

he prolly just changed the valve cover to keep it subtle looking

- just kidding Leo
Actually, it's a M's Super Cleaner (aka K&N Japan's Hyper Ramcharger); very $$$, very JDM, very Leo

thanks for the comments
its only about 75% complete, still got a lil ways to go. some of u mite be surprised, but its actually a B18C1
but built with R internals so its around mid 11s compression. the rest of the specs will be available for everyone's viewing pleasure once i get some cleaner pics
that style intake is beneficial for those of us that run circuit style racing rather than drag. that also is not complete, as i am going to run a duct pipe to the front bumper for cold RAM air. as it is now i can definitely feel a noticeable difference in the throttle response, and pickup from the lows and mids is much quicker

What radiator hose is that? It looks like the Spoon hoses, but It doesn't look like it says Spoon (blurry pic?).

I'm glad you said that because I was really close to calling you out on that gsr head.
And no I didn't think it was a gsr head because of the valve cover, it's a gsr head because the water outlet is under the vtec solenoid instead of under the distrubtor like on a b16/b18c5 head.
Nice though, love the intake.

This car is sweet. I've seen it in person. 5 lug and some other good ****
oh something else too. How much for a filter panel for the EG6 ARC airbox? Mine is getting dirty, time for a new one.
