That V8 coffee table is what inspired mine. I wish I could have done the same thing as it looks a LOT sturdier, and the pistons are better positioned.

i was going to put it on the engine stand and wheel it next to my couch but instead its getting shipped togolden eagle for a re-sleeve

Are you guys using glass or plastic for the tops? If glass, WOW.. ever seen a drunk person fall through glass table tops? They had something about that on TV a few months ago and its not pretty! lol

I have a aluminum volvo I-6 that i'd like to cut in half and put the glass on the 2 cut surfaces (picture an open hot dog bun with glas on top). I really like the industrial look of the volvo white block and i think it will look good if all of the aluminum parts are polished.
