Default Smaller tire rubbing more??

Hey guys,

I had some 255/35 yoko ES100 tires before they were flattened by a metal bar on the road so I recently picked up some 245/35 yoko avs sport.

The weird thing was with the 255/35 I rubbed only sometimes on a full gas of tank and dips at high speed. I thought with the 245/35 this would be taken care of .. .but its actually maybe rubbing slightly more?

Could this be due to the design of the actual tires?

Design of the tire could be one issue, the other could be a waked out alignment.

I dont think alignment could be it because i took one off to put the other one on right away.

Simple, you went with a differnt tire company and the contact patch is greater with this tire even though its rated less and this is causing your rub issues,

sucks

just give your rears a slight flare and you should be set.
