I need help, My car keeps blowing headlight bulbs when i reach a certain rpm, Something around 4,500ish, not only that before the bulbs blow all the lights in my car become very bright (Gauge cluster climate control Clock etc etc) but the only thing that blows are headlight bulbs but exactly right before they blow, my lights become Very bright purple, Something like hids but only for a quick sec.

I'm thinking it maybe a bad ground but I'm not sure, usually i know a thing or 2 about electrical stuff but this, i have no idea. This would help much because i have a set of HIDS I'm getting ready to put in but i don't want to blow the bulbs on those since there pretty expensive.

thats pretty weird. look into the eld (electric load detector) or the alternator.

let me get this straight, so all of your interior and exterior lights (and maybe all curcuits) are getting a huge voltage spike around 4500 rpms.

time to bust out the multimeter!

i would check and clean your grounds. I had a similar problem once. All of my lights would get super bright while driveing and my guages would jump around. I added a extra ground on the batt and it was fine.
