1) Can the cage be painted at the time of the certifation?

2) The seat brace, where does it go to on the seat, and does it touch the seat or does it to mount to the seat?

I did read the rule book, just not understanding it.

1) Yes the cage can be painted.

 

Painting the cage is ok. They will not check the seat brace, all they are checking for is all the points, tube thickness, welds and mounting plates.
