Need help with bushings lube.
Hi guys,i am gonna replace all the bushings on the rear LCA with oem rubber bushings...i was wondering what kind of grease or lube should i use to lube them..cause i don't want to get squeky noise in the future..thanks guys
I've tried many...and I continue to do so. I just picked a tube of Marine Grade from Fastenal. This product is made by Loctite. It has no metal - like their anti-sieze products - and is designed to operate in conditions where there is a potential for wash-out.
part # for the 8oz can with a brush is 34395
I've thought about trying Loctite's nickle anti-sieze; it is a little more slipery than the copper anti-sieze, and, it is also a little more resistant to chemical break down - road salt.
good luck.
