Well I call BS on that, the figures are very good but theres no reason at all why that could'nt be smoothed out where you mention. Get a second opinion, to me it looks like mine wwas before the ignition maps were fettled...HTH

thats not really that good for that set up man. the tq is way to low for that set up and the hump 5300-6000 is making u lose power i would have to say with this set you should be will in the 200 hp power and at less 130 tq have some one else tune ur car ...

The numbers after 6000 look very good. I just wonder where did they set vtec at? It looks too low. This motor would be a prime candidate for Pro1s and a PerformerX

Methinks this is a liberal DynoJet.

Or your dyno's just read high. Not to be a dick, but what does your car trap, "IT-R"? (Just friendly banter.)

The peak numbers look about right for your mods. The whole graph looks like it is shifted to the right about 600 RPM. The characteristic AEM CAI intake hump is usually at 4,500, but on your graph it's at about 5,100-5,200. A mild 1.8 running Skunk Stage 2 cams usually peaks ~ 8,100 RPM or so (depending on intake manifold/header etc.), but yours carries to 8,700+.
It leads one to wonder...

I too trapped 104mph on street tires with a 2.4 sixty-foot, but I only made 195whp.

Like I said, don't be concerned with dyno numbers. They are what they are.

I think it should make more power. I made 187WHP with I/H/E/TEST PIPE and 91 octane and 193WHP with I/H/E/TEST PIPE and 101 octane with timing set at 18 degrees. I will post my graphs up later.

HE's 2WHP away from 200whp, and he hasn't even opened the block..
Most cars with built bottem ends barely see 205whp. he Has Cams, bolt ons and a tune thats it.. Pretty decent numbers i must say, that hump is from the CAI and vtec being set too low.. he's not losing any power because of that hump, its just vtec is kicking in too early, he's not using the full low cam potentinal.

Where do you live?
Climate?
Time / date you ran?
these are all pretty much varibles that play a part in making some good power..
He's making 5 More whp then you with a set of cams..other then that your the same, the itr head from the factory has a p/p on it..so reguard that as his mod list.
he has bolt ons and cams and a tune and makes 198whp, he's yet to respond to tell me if the gears were messed with or if this was even a tune..

I live in So-CAL and it was about 63-65 degrees when i did my dyno. And you're right about the cam gears. Those make a big difference if you *** around with them.
