hey man not to be a dick or anything but its all personal preference.. why build a motor someone else likes or says that is cool? its gotta be all you man! just research it and ride in a few cars with different motor setups or somthing! we all like certain things... go with what you want.. not anybody else! goodluck

Neither will be more reliable, it depends on the parts going into the engines and who's putting them together and doing the work.

for sure it is what u want.. dont spend alot of money on a gsr they are all the same b18b b18c even the b16b all the same so buy what every is the cheapest and start building.... but i would go with a balanced ls crank in any of those blocks the only diff between these blocks is the ls dose not have oil squreters but if u use a ls crank then it is ok... and i would think that u want to use the ls crank do to the fact more displacement.... means more power easier.
so i hope i have helped u
