Default Buddy Club seat rails!

alright so i bought a f1spec type 1 bucket seat for the teg,and now im looking into some rails so i can mount her up. But the problem is im only 5'5. Yea i know im short but ive herd the Buddy Club seat rails make you sit very low and this car is my daily driver as well as an autox car and being that low wouldent work out. So is there any other option that i have with using seat rails that arent so low like that?

But which mount bracket do you suggest on that page? Im looking for something thats going to make the seat sit at stock hight, or as close to it as possible.

if F1 seats have similar mounting holes to our seats then yes those should be just fine, if you have any other questioned i would contact them. i dont know there seats well enough to give you a 100% PM me if you need anything else.

F1spec seats have the exact mounting holes as the MemoryFab S58/68. Basically any side mounted rail/slider will work. Incidentally F1 sells a Sparco sidemount copy that is almost the same height as the OMP high version posted above.

As for comments about F1spec seat, they are very well made for the price. I've been tracking the Type3 for a while now and like it better than any seat I've ever owned (I'm skinny and they are like a glove) My only complain is the cover isn't as nice as more expensive seats.

yea i looked on F1's website and i couldent seem to find them anywhere. The only bracket that they had was the garbage weapon r one, and the buddy club one. The seat comes with side mounts and sliders all i would need is the bracket.

F1 Spec can get you any Buddy Club part you need. And the rails we manufacture are all direct bolt on. Slider, rails, brackets, etc.. Its all you need to bolt up any side mount seat.
And height adjustability for the seats so that you can mount them low, or almost oem height.

as ive mentioned on RISR the OMP side mounts are what your looking for, i to am only 5'6 i run a buddyclub seat with sparco side mount brackets, base and slider. side mounting allows the user to adjust the seat height and pitch if needed. rather then a set height bracket.

good luck

The seat is tested with its supports. Using the seat without the supports that it was tested with voids the FIA 8885-1999 seat specification.

FIA Rules:

1.2
Each seat shall be homologated with its type
of supports: lateral supports, lower supports.
The tests described below shall be carried out
with the type of supports defined by the
manufacturer at the time of the homologation.
One and the same seat may be homologated
with different types of supports (lower, lateral).
In this case, two complete series of tests shall
be carried out.
The type of supports with which the seat was
homologated will be clearly indicated in the
test report and on the list of FIA-homologated
seats.

If you plan on useing a rear seat brace then none of this matters.
