Default 15in vs 16in? Any difference?

I know, I know, use the SEARCH button, but all you get is about how the car looks better or not. I want to know about performance (mainly drag racing). Yes, 15s are going to be better for drag racing and all, but my question is, are 16s much worse, or how much of a difference does it make? I ask this because one of my co-workers say 16s are the best. Reason being, because 17s are too big for hondas, and 15s are too light. That's why he choosed 16s. Too light for racing? Is there such a thing? Wouldnt "lightness" be better for drag racing? And 15s would be better for a launch compared to 16s, right? For the fact that there's less to spin, right? Let me know your thoughts/comments regarding this. I wouldn't mind getting either one, as rt-615s are like 80 bucks for 15s and 100 bucks for 16s. Thank you!

There's no such thing as "too light for racing".

15 inch wheels are better than 16 inch wheels for drag racing a Honda/Acura. Why? There are two major-brand drag radials on the market, the BFGoodrich g-Force T/A Drag Radial and the Nitto 555R. The BFG is available in a 15" size that fits most of our cars - 205/50-15 - and neither is available in 16" sizes that fit most of our cars.

just as a tip, being on street tires on most sets of wheels, I went from 14s to 15s to 16s then 15s again and the only difference I could notice was that with 15s i could shift faster (very very small difference, but enough to notice) than with 16s

Shift faster? Meaning in less wheel spin?

Personally, I like 15s. Just because they are smaller.
