215/50/15's on stock rims?
I want to run Dunlop SP sport 5000 215/50/15's on '95 stock GSR rims. Anyone else heard of this or done this? Would it rub with a 1.5" drop?
I did a search, and the only thread I found was in the Type-R forum.
Thanks ahead of time.

it will rub when turning the wheel all the way or over slight bumps...plus stock rims are 6 inches wide..it 215 will fit..but it's too wide...205-50-15 is much better
215 is pushing it. Other than the cosmetic effect(wheel sunken into a tire), in general only a 10mm over width is recommended. Ie: 205 on a 195 factory equipped piece.
heres the question though.... what is your wheel gap height (didstance from wheel to wheel well). what is your suspension setup (how stiff)?

Under a hard turn full lock, my 205 Ecsta 712s rub. AutoX proven... don't try it on the street.
