I am interested to seeing some success stories of people using the S2S3 tuner series cams. I have read the thread about some girl who drives an eg civic, and that of tbones bciv vs s2s3. i just was wondering if anyone else are using these with success.

i have used comp cams, RM, s2, toda, jun in all almost everything. Success of the engine is not all on the cam, sorry if that wasn't what u wanted to hear.

if you have used these specific cams i would like to hear about your results and if they had good idle characteristics.

They idle fine as they have basicly stock primary lobes. What i would recommend for people that cannot tune, or have a store bought chip.

I used S2S3s for a little while...
Stockish until VTEC, then like a shotgun.

I'd suggest a Pro 1 if I knew more about your build.

i used s2s3 cams very good power on a stock b16a bottom end with 156k miles and worn rings. i made 174.24whp@ 9000rpm 113.21ft lbs of torque. The car idles like it's stock, but when vtec hits it's a whole different monster. I think i could use these cams on a turbo car, which i might try that sometime in the near future. skunk2 gets my vote for some great cams. The funny things is that i didn't have the cams degreed yet, but i just staggered the cams. My fuel managment was controlled by a vafc and a p28 chipped ecu. I hope to have hondata on the car whn i put in my new setup.
