will an aftermarket manifold (Blox, Skunk 2) installed on a 97 gsr, set off a mil light?? and if so how do i fix it??

 

When i changed from my stock manifold to an HP Racing IM, i didnt have any CEL's

 

No, it shouldn't!

 

if installed properly there will be no issues

 

ok cool, we were just thinking about the butterfly valves not being hooked up, and to pass nc inspection you have to be mil free

 

just did mine yesterday, no CEL's.... feel free to PM me if you have ay questions, since the install is fresh in my head

 

My one piece of advice for the IM swap is this: remove the oil filter and save yourself the headache i encountered. I unknowingly dented the hell out of it and about 500 miles later, it leaked all over. Other than that, have fun because IM swaps pretty much suck ***
