Default ST brand any good?

Are ST components worth buying? I found a set of ST Sport springs that lower the car about an inch for an insanely low price. I should be heading down to pick them up in about an hour.

However... they're silver in color where it looks like all the new ST stuff is fugly green. Did they ever make silver colored springs or am I being had?

By ST do you mean Suspension Technique?

Affirmative.

- - - - EDIT - - - -

I just got back from buying them. The box said: Suspension Technique Sport Springs Honda Civic/CRX 1" drop 88-91. There was a bar-code/shipping tag that said 4/5/02 so these springs have been kicking around uninstalled for 6 years. They really depreciated in value... seeing as how I only paid $20 for them

So, I guess my question should now be:
"Was Suspension Technique a good brand in 2002?"

Also, are their shocks good as well? I'm thinking about putting their shocks/struts under the car along with their rear swaybar.

If i remember correctly blue was the standard spring and silver was the speedtech version. Speedtechs were around 2" drops.

They sold alot of springs until Belltech bought them. After that they pretty much fell off the face of the earth. All the stuff turned green after they became involved with KW.

I always heard ST springs were top notch. Sounds like you got a good deal. If theyve been sitting around unused, they should still be like new. a spring shouldnt deteriorate if its not being driven on. (other than surface rust possibly)

Thanks for the reply B18LS, have you heard anything about STs shocks as well?

I've heard that their swaybars are good and plan to eventually run one in the rear (after having it re-powder-coated a less obnoxious color ).

I thought it might be nice to have a complete suspension from the same company, seeing as how they often design their products to work best with other products of their making. Also, it means less stickers to put on the car
