I saw a turbo kit on eBay for about $800,-. But they didn't put the make of the pieces. Can I trust this???
You can check it on eBay if you want. I just typed "Honda Prelude turbo kit" and I found a whole set with turbo, intercooler plus pipes, everything. but what bothers me is that it is to great a bargain. a complete set for only $799,-, that's crazy.
any help ???

I have seen a few decent looking piping kits but the turbos with these 600-800 dollar kits really are bad.

we made 450whp on a b series at 15 psi with the ebay kit... the turbo fell apart after about a week though... not sure if we just got a bunk design or if they are all like that. changed the turbo out to a better one and havent had any problems since.. manifold and the rest of the kit seem to be doing fine. only the turbo itself that we had problems with. then i did a prelude with the ebay kit and its still running fine after about 4 months. never dyno'd and on low boost 8 lbs. guess its the luck of the draw if you get a good one or not.

 

Think about it, a good turbo alone will cost you at least 800.00.You better have a good job if you gonna boost your car.Thats why I have not done it yet.
