Default accord engine

can you make the stock engine on a 1990 4 door accord engine a dual cam?
thanks, im trying to learn more about my car.

for what you would spend in parts and labor its just as cost efficient to get a h23, but to answer your question I'm not sure if you can.

i agreee, i think that swapping it out with a prelude engine would be cheaper.

short answer, yes...

look in the FAQ, there are links to swapping the head for a DOHC H22 or H23.
