The 2007 Thank You Thread
Sorry if this is long.
I would like to thank the following individuals, teams, and companies for their help and support of my efforts this year. This year my team and myself built a new car over the period of 96 days during the off season that put into effect some of the things we learned last year. The chassis was much better than the one we had before, it was easier to tune and it was more consistent. My teams efforts paid off.
I would like to thank:
Robby Manly for helping me work through long hours to get the car ready to go.
Jay Manly, Thomas Tapley, Wes McDade, John Curtis, and Chris Few for helping to finish, and test the car and traveling with it
Ben Davis for all the late hours prepping paint, molding fiberglass and painting so that the car would look presentable
Nick V for the use of his Tow vehicle and help at the NHRA NJ event
Dave Zientara, Tye Hubert, Michael Peter, and Jessica Fountain for technical support
Jason Kohler for helping get the Hondata S300 figured out
My family, for understanding and support
Jason Hunt, Charlie Schafer, Dan and the rest of team CSI, the team that defines sportsmanship
Tex Blackwell, and Team BRE, thanks for letting me stop at the shop and piece my tow vehicle together again!!
Chris Rado and World Electronics for the awesome boost controller
Tempest Racing, Joe, and Jeff. You guys are the greatest
Jenny Wyatt, thanks for some of the best photos of my car
Team AAP
Jay Poss of J&J Machine, excellent machine work
Keith of Pure Tuning. If you are in Ohio, give them a shout. Extremely knowledgeable.
Rich of 13-3 Motorsports. Thanks for the vinyl
The Competition Clutch team, 2 seasons on my twin disk and loving it still
Sean and Nick at JE Pistons
Dan and the entire team of Bullseye Power, great power producing products(S372)
RS Akimoto for the great velocity stack and air intake products!!
Chris Rado and World Electronics
Frank at The DriveShaft Shop for making axles that can hold the S372 power
ARP for the clamping power to keep my engine together
Hondata S300
Fluidampr
The entire staff of NOPI Motorsports
The racers I have been honored to stage the lights with
And BoostFed for Smoke Dawg.

Thanks to your product I exceeded all my power goals this past year and was able to post some career best times and ets. It is also great to see you at the track and be able to get some great advise to improve the combination. Thanks Dan.

Thanks for the pics. That first one was after the lane got oiled down and Kenny had lane choice so we ended up switching lanes. That was a great event.
I'd like to thank Jimmy and JJspec experience and opportunities. From a random beat up civic, to the the build, to taking it across the country. Learned alot and looking forward to 08!
And as Jimmy said, thanks to everyone thats part of this community. Many, many fine stand up individuals. And I(this was the first year I had seen it from the other side of the fence) was amazed at how willing everyone is to help each other out, even competitors!
You guys rock!

Dan!! Tell your boss and Jason I said hello and thanks for the great help and knowledge that has been passed on. Honestly, your team probably did more to get me to go to that second event in Maryland in 06 after meeting you guys at South Georgia Motorsports Park. I was very outclassed and underpowered in my car that me and my small crew built ourselves. I didn't know a whole lot when I went down to SGMP, but just wanted to go to a national event and when I got there your team was very encouraging and I believe Julie asked me if I was going to MIR. I got my check for third and decided that would get me most of the way there. That got my career rolling and if I hadn't gone I wouldn't have done what I did this year. So thanks to team CSI, who in my book is the embodiment of sportsmanship.
I may go to the MIR sportsman race. I have a SFWD car in the shop we are thrashing on to get ready for commerce so I hope to have it in MIR. Maybe I can bring another car also.
