Honda 92 Civic Hatchback - My Ideas/Future Plans
Hey whats up everyone? I just registered on this forum. Im actually really interested on getting a 92 Civic Hatch. But I would like to know your opinions on how I should go about getting it.
I dont want to spend too much money, when I say too much. Not over 6K. Anyways, I would want to get a 92 Civic Hatchback prefferably just the shell, that way I dont have to worry about removing the motor since I want to replace it with an LS Vtec. I will also be gutting everything, interior, electronics that I wont be needing. I just want a little car that has some good power and fun to drive.
What do you guys think would be a good motor that isnt stock but gives you a good amount of power but at the same time fits my budget? I was talking to a friend about the LS Vtec and LS transmission with a Greddy EVO2 FULL Exhaust, with cold air intake, and probably just that.
Also, what is a good price or estimate on what it should be for both a Shell of a Hatch & The Hatch with stock everything running..

welcome to h-t
being that your a cali I don't know about pricing, I know over here is the east coast you can find a hatch anywhere from 500, to about 5000 depending on condition.
Is this your first project?

Thanks. Yes, it will be. I have been wanting to start this project for about 2 months ago, but I finally now am taking action to actually make it happen.
