Default Clutch Master Cylinder, are they the same???????????????????

well, i realized today that my clutch master cylinder is slowly but surely leaking. so i want to replace it before i decide to drive it and it craps on me. so i know this might sound like a noob question, but is the ITR clutch m/c any different from the rest that honda uses. i know the brake one is different, but wasn't sure if the clutch was.

also, how is the omni one. is it worth it? i know when it first came out there was alot of problems, just wondering if i should stick with oem.

I would have to say they're the same. It looks to me as if 92-00 Civics and 94-01 Integras use the same MC, regardless of B or D-series. Checking part #s will answer your question for sure.

yeah i checked part numbers already, the only thing that is different is the middle 3 numbers, everything else is the same.

how is the omni one? is it worth the $200? just curious, if not i'll stick with oem.

I don't have any experience with Omni MCs. I buy NAPA MC for about $110, haven't had issues with them.

$110, wow, i would have thought NAPA to be alittle cheaper. yeah i've also seen Advanced sell theirs for $110 as well. OEM ones are $120, so i think i'm going to go with that. $10 more, and i'll sleep alittle better at night.

Thnaks man!

All 94-01 Integra and 92-95 Civic are interchangeable. I believe the 96-00 Civic is interchangeable as well.

Yeah, I thought they all looked the same and pushed the same volume of fluid. I know that the Integra brake MC pushes more than the Civics w/ drums.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by philosofy1 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

REALLY? $120? I think I'll stick to genuine Honda MCs from now on...

the omni will stiffen and shorten the pedal and engagement quite a bit, depending on what pressure plate you have. kinda like upgrading to an itr brake mc over a civic brake mc, the omni is bigger than an oem. if you already have an aftermarket pressure plate, this will make it alot stiffer.
