With a stock exhaust and header, you wont notice it. With a nice 2.5 inch collector header, it sounds slightly raspy compared to stock, but not noticeable.

I'm running DC JDM 4:1 w/ 2.5" testpipe & stock ITR exhaust = quiet as a ****! (But pretty f'n loud on VTEC, otherwise, just like stock)!

It's raspy, borderline shitty. Makes good power though.

Mine doesn't sound raspy at all (definitely not deep sounding either), but, hey, "results may vary" - I guess

I hope you have a black ITR if you plan on running a straight pipe

The smell is the worst part

results must vary a bunch. i have dc jdm, test pipe and tanabe RM. My bumper looks nothing like that even after running the car hard for a long time. I have 12.5 cr but my car is tuned so it may not be running as rich as the car in the pic above, thats crazy

ITR was never meant to have a catalytic converter on it. Period. I have a 2.25 test-pipe in mine so I can re-install my stock cat once a year for smog tests. If you dont like the smell of an ITR without a cat on it. Then sell your ITR and take up knitting.

Sounds very hard core and all but I'll bet you didn't not live in LA in the '70s or '80s. Hell, even now it is not great airwise.

I'll bet the likelihood that someone will remove their cat is inversely proportional to their age.

but for real man, it sound prefect for me with mugen on, but with 5zigen...it's loud..but i still like that sound. For just bolts ons, straight pipe won't give u crazy power, but after i build my motor with JUNs, dyno shows 185, but after straight pipe it's 200 whp, it gave me straight 15 whp, all i can say it's those cams love straight pipe!

So nothing at all changed between the two runs? If so, would suspect that something was wrong with your cat.
