98 F23 Vtec + 94 F22 Vtec = SAME header bolt pattern?
wtf?^^
jayhonda123..
you dont know wtf your talking about...
Long block= complete motor
Short block= Just the block
And im almost 1000% shure the f22b1, h23 and f23 head ports are identical. The non-vtec ports for cylinder 2 and 3 are siamesed. Opposed to the vtec head which have equal spacing inbetween each port.

h23 has a different port design than f22b1/f23 engines.
and jayhonda123 may want to just log out now. long block/short block is a matter of what components are included with a specific motor, not an entirely different motor style.

my bad, i fugured the f22b1 and teh f22A'S identical. A h23 header/maifold will bolt up to a F22Ax head though. I did a h23 head swap on my cousins boyfriends 97 CL and i used the stock manifold.
