RSX Headlights
Couldn't you just pry them apart?? Most people that I know of, just heat their headlights up, then pry them apart and paint the crome piece inside black...Thats what I did with my Prelude headlights

those are on sale on ebay, usdm headlights blacked out. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1840909548
These aren't mine, but this was what they look like when they're painted. Mine look exactly the same though
Directions on how to pry headlights apart:
1. Remove internals, including bulb, harness, rubber thingy etc...
2. Put the entire headlight in the oven, and heat it up. U have to do this carefully, i dont know the exact temperatue to heat the oven too, so just start at about 100F, and work your way up. ( I can't imagine that you would go above 120F)
3. Once heated, pull it out and have a friend help hold it with hot pads.
4. Do your best to pop the clips off the headlights (if yours have them, they are usually plastic)
5. Using 2 or 3 flat head screw drivers, start at any corner and stick the flathead directly between the clear piece and the plastic piece.
6. Slowly pry the pieces apart. As soon as you get a piece started, stick another driver in there to hold your place... that weather strip will try to grab itself as it comes back together.
7. Work your way around the headlight till the whole piece comes off.
8. Carefully choose the pieces you want painted and do so (usually flat black)
9. When dry, put the backing into the oven and heat it up. When warm, the clear piece should go in snuggly. I used some rubber grips to push them together.
Things to remember:
1. Do not melt the headlight (this will not likely happen... they withstand lots of heat)
2. Do not leave finger prints inside the clear piece, cuz nothing sux more that noticing one then having to take the whole thing apart just to wipe it off.
3. Do not paint the wrong piece (dont be a moron)
4. The clear piece is LEXAN, and is actually stronger than the backing, but you can still scratch it, so be careful.
We have done this procedure on:
99 Civic SI
94 Del Sol VTEC
97 Prelude SH

You can do them whatever color you want. Flat black will replicate the JDM Integra (RSX). I saw a guy w/ a blue civic do it w/ white headlights on the cover of a superstreet magazine... it looked alright.
the jdm rsx lights are not a flat black... its hard to explain but its more glossy and not a pure black... the color actually changes a bit depending on lighting... i would rather go and get the jdm lights if you really want that color because the jdm ones are hard to replicate exactly... all i can say is they look 100 times better then the DIY ones in person...
