Give them a call and get a feel for what they are all about, then call hmotors and do the same. I can personally vouch for hmotors...extremely professional and since they are in the US, you do not have to worry about customs hassles. If you do buy from http://www.jdmtigerjapanese.com/ please post your results, they have decent prices and a good selection.

Ya the only downfalls is the customs issue for sure not fun having a motor sitting in customs for 2 weeks.

i ordered my motor from there and it was awesome, but then my buddy ordered his and it had a bad rod knock, nest in the intake, throttle body was stuck shut and almost every sensor was broken and they never sent the ecu and after dealing with them for 2 weeks and having to ship it back they only refunded him half and said that there were bolts missing and sensors broken ect... and then i know a kid that order a type r from them and it had a spun bearing...i would never order from them again! spend the extra money with hmotors becuase you get what you pay for

check that one out...theyre in VA and I got my motor through them...they have a really good reputation around here and theyre service is really good...this former employee sold me a motor there that had a lot of gunk in the head...i took it back and spoke with Phil and he got me a new one...inspected it himself and had me look through it to make sure it was good to go...car started right up with 235psi compression across all cylinders...if you call them, theyre prices are usually cheaper then what they advertise on the website.

Just ask for Phil or Alex and tell them raymund wit the h22a sent you.

You cant go wrong with them. Great customer service. I have bought 2 B20B engines from them and my buddy bought an H22A from them all 3 were clean and great. They have lift-gate service included in their cheap shipping. One B20B had a broken tower on the dizzy and they shipped a replacement to me for free. They are really the only place I will ever buy from.

hey i live in their area and i have seen some of their stuff. i understand that it is used and whatnot but these guys have some "GEMS" like all other places but they are alright guys.

a buddy of mine bought a jdm h22 but it had some other incentives such as mugen headers, q45 throttle body and cam gears but it was blown when he got it. he knew there was a risk of the motor being BEATEN on.

he called them up and got another jdm h22 and it was really strong.

seeing as how it is winter time u should call them up and talk to them they should cut a good deal as it's slower in winter and u can bargain a lil bit more.

what motor are u looking on getting RAV
