i have exact engine as u do and ran a p30 ecu (jdm) that came with the swap but it made my car run like ****. unstable idel, knock sensor came on, traction control came on. so i switched it to a chipped p28 ecu tune by a pro and the car has been running very smotth then. no more check engine light
this guy chips the best ecu ever.

p28 is for the single cam v-tec, while the p30 is for a b16. I would say go with a P30.The P30 is made for the that engine.

true, but if he's going to run the motor stock then he's better off running a stock ecu. Just my $ .02

pr3 is obd-0

best ECU to use is a chipped p28
won't check for knock sensor. Gas will be off buy maybe 30 miles over the stock p30 ECU.
