Why not do it yourself? Unless you dont have the tools, time, nor place...

Any of those jiffy lubes or anything like that have bad reps. I have talked to at LEAST 5 different people that have had motors blow due to going to one of those places. They will forget to put the oil plug on tight or whatever. Do it yourself...

Count us as #1 AND #2... Walmart did it TWICE to the wifeypoo!
once in Forest Lake 2003 on our old Chevy Caviler... forgot the drainplug... line of oil on her dads driveway
i told her never to take it there again!

then SHE LET THEM do it again at Faitbault Walmart (80 miles across the state, and 3 years later!)
it felt like it was barely hand tightened, THEN i saw on the receipt -they put in 10W30!!!
...in a civic!

she said "i wasn't by the dealership and it was overdue(5,000- RELIGIOUSLY), and only had today to get it done."

...live and learn!l DEALERSHIP ONLY, or DIY! for Both -MTF AND OIL changes!

(i learned the hard way... NOW i have HER set-up with the Oil Changes For Life Program for our '05... so she HAS no EXCUSE!)

Amsoil 5W30 with Amsoil filter for engine, Amsoil MTF or Honda MTF for the tranny. GM Synchromesh is also a good product.

our harsh winters and driving conditions puts me in the...
"Honda Recommended 3500 mile (Harsh Conditions) oil changes category"

i'm change the MTF every other oil change... it eliminated my grind!
